Friedrich Wilhelm junior joins the company and expands business in the Czech market. 

After the turnaround in Eastern Europe, the textile industry suffers a severe setback. Friedrich Wilhelm GesmbH & Co KG therefore establishes business connections in the plastics processing field. Own companies are successively launched in Hungary, Romania and the Czech Republic (including Slovakia): 1989 Wilhelm Budapest Kft, 1993 Wilhelm Bohemia sro, 1994 Wilhelm Romco srl.
